Registered dietitians services are covered by most 3rd party medical insurance companies like Blue Cross, Great West Life, Sun Life etc. Ask your employer if you are eligible for this benefit. Some plans may include these services under a “health spending account”. If you or your spouse’s employer provides a benefits plan, you may be eligible for up to $1000.00 annually. Registered Dietitian counselling is also exempt from HST and is tax deductible, so you can claim our session on your income tax if you don’t get reimbursed 100%.
I am pleased to announce that I provide direct billing for the following insurance companies:
- Medavie Blue Cross
- Green shield Canada
- Great West
- SSQ Financial Group
- Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan
